This book is a reaction to the horizontal and basic flow of reading a book when each page—containing texts and/or images—is read one after the other in a prepared and expected order.
The typeface used on the cover/poster of the book are cut-out leftovers of the correspondant letters used inside the book.
The content is simply made pages cut-out to make lettershapes that write the tile of the book ‘BREAD AND CIRCUS’ taken from the time of the Roman Empire when bread and circuses were what people were given to people to stop them causing trouble to politicians. Free bread and entertainment would keep everybody happy and quiet, just like we do with books.
