    Nicola Zocca was born in Italy, where he started his studies focusing on sciences and pharmacy, and changed direction to graduate from the Royal College of Art (Design Products) in 2010. He was based in London and works between UK and Italy. For him, ‘the designer is someone who usually has to find a solution for a problem. The solution has to do with the creation of an object that has a practical purpose and is intended both to be looked at and used.’

    Nicola joined DesignMarketo for the Tea Tasting event organised at the Barbican in November 2010, and we miss him dearly.
