Bergström and Nunn met at the Royal College of Art (RCA) in 2005 on Ron Arad’s Design Products course. Originally from Sweden, Bergström studied at Danish College of Design, Copenhagen. Nunn studied furniture design in High Wycombe.
Previous to founding Glass Hill, Bergström worked for an architects practice and Nunn designed furniture for Tom Dixon.
They founded Glass Hill in January 2010 to provide clients with thoughtful and appropriate design and creative direction. They have produced interiors, furniture and products for a range of clients including Phillips de Pury & Company, The ICA London, the Crafts Council and the Royal College of Art. Glass Hill are currently, amongst other things, designing furniture for an inn on the remote island of Fogo, Newfoundland and Labrador.
