Olivia Decaris is a London based, French designer and illustrator.
She has graduated Design Products at the Royal College of Art in 2009 and has spent the last year working from her studio in East London. Over this time she has run workshops throughout Europe, developed production technique projects, while also negotiating her first projects going into production.
In recent years, Decaris has completed a number of products where the primary focus was to find solutions to improve the physical and psychological comfort of the citizen.she is fascinated by the physical experience of the human body in the contemporary world. Movement and physicality in her projects have also come from her interest for animation films and cartoons, in which the objects and characters are full of life.
The main characteristic of Olivia Decaris’s work is about communicating ideas through illustrations. She imagines a scenario and sketches it: this process gives birth to personal and original objects.
