Pia is always smiling. We are not sure if this is due to her mixed UK/ Finnish / German background, or simply because she works from her London based studio with craftsmen all over Europe, or because she is unbeatable at finding new aesthetics in familiar crafts processes and materials through contrast and composition, or maybe even because her company Utopia&Utility was established in 2012 to promote and commission craft manufacturing in the design field, but trust us, she smiles! Oh, it might also be because of her delicate Scent Pebbles jewelery pieces she created for Perfume, sir?.
