Reversed Volumes
misher’traxler
Reversed Volumes is a collection of bowls designed by mischer’traxler that are shaped by capturing the imprint of a fruit/vegetable. Similar to a recipe, and using elements that may be found in any kitchen, the space between a bowl and a fruit/vegetable is filled. Once dried, the filling material has adopted the imprint of its containers. The imprint of the different fruits/vegetables is represented in detail from a new point of view. These food-safe and water proof resin objects are manufactured through an industrial process, while the finishing and manufacturing of the colours are done manually in order to provide them with slight differences.
Reversed Volumes was initially designed for our Foodmarketo Fruits&Vegetables event in 2010. Being developed further for serial production, it is now edited by PCM.
Materials: Food-safe resin. Dishwasher safe. Not microwave or oven-proof.
