  45. Alexandre Bettler graduated with a BA in graphic design at ECAL, Switzerland in 2000. He worked as a freelancer for three years before completing a MA in Communication Art and Design in 2005 at the Royal College of Art. Alexandre’s work has a strong relationship to everyday life and the small elements that surround us. “I focus on the detail, the things which might not be seen as conventionally aesthetic and yet there is something arresting about the mundane, which can often be overlooked.”
His work has been influenced by his travels around the world, recording music, organising exhibitions, designing books, posters and making short films.
Personal experiences are sensitive and effective tools to communicate ideas and feelings by focusing on them, Alexandre seeks to magnify their beauty as well as their function.
Alexandre lives and works in London. Have a look at Alexandre Bettler’s work here.
