Harry Thaler is part of a daring community of designers whose works explore the world through reinvented objects and juxtaposition with a surprising and charming elegance. His adventurous designs are built on a foundation of traditional techniques and high quality craftsmanship creating a sensation of timelessness in his work. A goldsmith, with a background that covers everything from jewellery design to carpentry, Thaler is now completing his Masters in design at the Royal College of Art. He was commissioned to design a series of public benches, has built a bike powered by compressed air, and has designed interiors, furniture and products for private commision. He now divides his time between London (UK) and Merano (Italy) and has now opened his own studio.
