Waiting for Odd Matter’s unexpected creations at Perfume sir?
Odd Matter is the dynamic designer duo composed by dutch Els Woldhek and bulgarian Georgi Manassiev.
The two product designers met in London, where they currently live and work, when getting their grades at the RCA. Els and Georgi found a common creative terrain in their fascination, for the hidden, unnoticed qualities of materials. Their research can be described as a negotiation between the designer’s agenda and materials’ innate qualities, that leads to unexpected results, some of which we are extremely curious to see in their upcoming work for Perfume, Sir?

The betel plant is an evergreen and perennial creeper, with glossy heart-shaped leaves and white catkin. The leaves of the particular are used for chewing in South East Asia…they are very popular!

Zaven are a multidisciplinary bunch. Based in the former industrial docks of Marghera, overlooking the idyllic Venetian Lagoon, the studio founded in 2006 by Enrica Caverzan and Marco Zavagno is at the forefront of communication research. Specialising in graphic, product and communication design, this dynamic studio established itself as a hub for collaboration between creatives hailing from different background and experiences.
